What age groups do you cater to?Zehtu caters to children aged 6 to 18, providing tailored lessons for different developmental stages.

How large are the group classes?Our group classes have a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 15 students, while our small group classes have a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 8 students.

What qualifications do your tutors have?Our tutors are qualified, native English speakers with experience in teaching children. They are selected through a rigorous process to ensure they meet our high standards.

What level is my child?Our Levels are based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference), where Level 1 is A1 (Beginner or Elementary), Level 2 is A2 (Pre-intermediate), Level 3 is B1 (Intermediate), Level 4 is B2 (Upper Intermediate), Level 5 is C1 (Advanced), and Level 6 is C2 (Proficiency).

How do you track students' progress?We track students' progress using a comprehensive approach that aligns with international language proficiency standards, including the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) guidelines. Our tutors assess students' language skills across the four key areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, using a combination of formal assessments, informal observations, and performance-based tasks. Progress is regularly communicated to parents through detailed progress reports and parent-teacher conferences, allowing for ongoing collaboration and support in achieving language learning goals.

Can I choose the tutor for my child?Tutors are assigned to students by our team, taking into account the teaching methods and personality.

What technology is required to participate in the classes?A stable internet connection, a computer or tablet, and a headset with a microphone are required for the best learning experience. We make use of Zoom and Kahoot for classes.

Is there a trial class available?Yes, there is. Our trial class is a free level determiner or curriculum trial.
